Christian Borle (born October 1, 1973) is an American actor. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Borle has been primarily featured as an actor in Broadway productions. Borle attended St. Edmunds Academy in the Pittsburgh area, where he played Scrooge in a 1987 production of Dickenss "A Christmas Carol". He graduated from Shady Side Academy in Pittsburgh and attended Carnegie Mellon University before moving to New York in September 1995.
